Alvey Adventurer 50 Reel

For many, many years, estuary and small boat fishing have been popular uses for our 50 reel. Quality and longevity are provided by a classic stainless steel back and metal side cast system. Smooth operation and greater sensitivity result from a stainless steel bush attached to a lightweight, injection-molded fibre glass spool. The hand is removed from the winding handle and swiftly put to the line surface and spool to provide back pressure in order to control a fish that is taking line on a direct wind reel. Recover the line and the fish by placing your hand back on the handle once the fish has calmed down.

Nothing on this reel could possibly go wrong or break. An on-back fish alert switch and sufficient line capacity.
