Spark Plug

An internal combustion engine requires three essential components to function: air, fuel, and spark. A spark plug is a vital engine component that delivers the spark necessary to ignite the air-fuel mixture, powering the engine.

A spark plug functions by channeling electrical current through a central electrode, creating a spark across an electrode gap, and completing the circuit to a ground electrode. The central electrode is encased in a ceramic insulator, which is non-conductive, preventing current leakage and ensuring electricity flows in the intended direction.
