Its distinctiveness lies in the line being woven at a 45-degree angle under tension, resulting in a denser fiber structure that enhances stability, manageability, and abrasion resistance. The Shimano Heat Sink coating is applied to the line to minimize heat concentration from guide and drag pressure. The Izanas fiber features an advanced fiber lay technology unique to Shimano, preventing line flattening that could cause premature breakage. Consequently, the tensile strength and abrasion resistance are significantly enhanced.
