Shimano Antares Baitcast Reel

The Shimano Antares is the flagship of Shimano’s low-profile baitcast reel range, combining cutting-edge casting technology with premium refinement and performance. Designed for serious anglers, Antares delivers exceptional casting distance, precision and smoothness across a wide range of lure weights.

At its core, the MGL Spool IV works with SVS Infinity braking, Silent Tune and S3D Spool technology to reduce spool vibration, improve start-up and provide consistent casting performance. The redesigned line management system further enhances casting control and efficiency.

For smooth, powerful winding, Antares features Silent Drive, MicroModule gearing, HAGANE Gear, X-Ship and a rigid HAGANE Body. Its compact, ergonomic low-profile design provides a comfortable feel in hand while maintaining the premium build quality Shimano is known for.
